October 9: Applications for voter registration must be postmarked by this day and received by October 14, 2020.
If you have a valid ID from the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, you can register to vote online.
To register to vote by mail, download the application, complete the form, sign it, and mail it to the Suffolk County Board of Elections at the following address:

Please note that the USPS is not required to expedite election mail. We recommend requesting your absentee ballot by October 15 at the latest.
How to Vote Absentee
Tuesday, November 3: Deadline for absentee ballots to be postmarked. Ballots must be received by November 10th.
Once you’ve received your absentee ballot, fill it out using blue or black ink and mail it to the following address:
